As your Psychologist, my aim is to build a therapeutic relationship with you that will support you to be your best self. I firmly believe that success comes in many shapes and sizes and the road to success will often times be full of bumps, U-turns, and forks. How we navigate through these challenges is key – and I aim to support you in facing these challenges to get to your end goal. It’s important in this journey that we do not shy away from negative emotions – so we will work together to better understand these and acknowledge them and their role in our journey.
I like to use a variety of therapeutic techniques in sessions, with the focus being you. I am empathetic and will actively listen to you, providing you the platform to share and be comfortable in our shared space – I believe this is key to your growth as often we feel we have no one to turn to without being judged.
Together, we will work to build your awareness, develop your coping skills, and overcome the obstacles that are preventing you from achieving your goals. I believe that everyone has the capacity to grow and change, and I am committed to helping my clients unlock their full potential.

With me, “what you see is what you get”. I bring no fuss – just open, honest support. This means, sometimes you might get a taste of my quirky sense of humour and, dare I admit, swearing. It’s important that, in order for us to build a robust therapeutic relationship, that I am authentic in our engagements, so as to allow you to feel safe and supported.
During our sessions, we will start to understand the patterns of your behaviours and decisions and how best to manage your concerns. I will ask for your input – and at times, I will ask you to consider things between sessions. Please know this comes from an appreciation that change happens over time – not only in your sessions with me.
Speak To Luisa
I am an outgoing, chatty person by nature and have worked in a variety of locations, from fancy offices in WA to demountables in Fabrication Yards throughout Asia. I am passionate about working with people from various cultures and am genuinely curious about their stories. I myself came to Perth from Central America at 5 years old – so my appreciation of culture stems from my own journey.
I am a Mother of two and take immense pride in being a Mum and a Wife. This journey is not easy – balancing the demands of work and home are often exhausting, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I love my family and I love to work.
