I aim to provide my clients with a warm, safe, and non-judgemental environment to support their personal growth and enrichment in quality of life. I adopt a holistic approach to therapy, working towards building and maintaining your physical, emotional, social, and spiritual wellbeing. I like to think of my relationships with my clients as a dynamic duo, a team that works collaboratively together to set and achieve goals. Think Batman and Robin or Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen.
I am a Provisionally Registered Psychologist and I graduated with honours from Curtin University in 2021. I have experience in pain management strategies and use evidence-based practices, focusing on cognitive behavioural therapy, goal setting, mindfulness practices and acceptance and commitment therapy.
I strongly encourage feedback and open communication in my sessions to maximise efficiency of time and outcomes. I have an open mind when it comes to clients, understanding that everyone is different and requires a unique approach. Therefore, you should expect me to consistently check in with you on whether you think what we are doing is the right fit or whether you would like to switch it up. I encourage my clients to explore possible answers to their questions and challenge the way in which they think. Within our sessions you can expect me to be laidback, often inviting laughter into the room where appropriate.
Partners in Psychology acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land we are meeting on, the Whadjuk people. We wish to acknowledge and respect their continuing culture and the contribution they make to the life of this city and this region. Partners in Psychology acknowledges the Traditional Owners of country throughout Australia and recognises their continuing connection to land, waters and community. We pay our respects to them and their cultures; and to elders both past and present
