Coming to therapy can be daunting whether its your first experience or not, so it is important to me to make sure I get to know you and what you want from the experience. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families with general mental health concerns, trauma, adjustment difficulties, grief and loss, and much more. I also have extensive experience working with neurodiverse people to help improve day-to-day function, meet goals, and improve overall wellbeing.
I have experience working with a diverse range of clients across the lifespan. This includes using therapeutic techniques including ACT, schema therapy, DBT, attachment-based therapies, and play therapy to support you to manage a range of mental health concerns. The choice of technique is based on your own personal preference and the ‘best fit’ for you.
I believe in the importance on a client-centred approach to therapy which means ensuring that the help and support I offer fits not only with your goals for therapy, but your own individual needs and preferences. Connection is the key to healing and so my goal is to get to know you and ensure your experience is a safe journey towards recovery.
